Jeen’s music has been long sought after for use in commercials, film and TV with her songs garnering support from the BBC, NPR, SiriusXM, and EARMILK to name a few.

In addition to her solo work Jeen has written songs with many popular recording artists and is a member of Cookie Duster (Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene side project).

She is currently working on her next full length LP, a follow up to her 2025 EP ‘For The Romance’

“O’Brien, performing here solo as Jeen … provides us with this week’s mantra ‘burn it bright’ … wistful and breezy” – NPR

“danceable indie pop” – Brooklyn Vegan

“Jeen has that old-timey alt-rock/punky vibe going on that just makes you want to blast her album really loud” – Buzznet

“has echoes of bands like The Breeders and other 90s female fronted alternative acts in the scratchy texture of her voice and the reverb-fueled jangle of her guitars” – Baeble

“with a drumbeat and a catchy vocal that makes this sound… ripe for singing and clapping along to in a live setting” – PopMatters

“Jeen uses every second of her new EP to portray a vulnerable city-girl sound, perfectly coinciding with recent hits by Lana Del Rey and Chappell Roan. “Look What You Did” is a lively yet somber disco tune that inspires movement and windows-down driving…an EP about endings, beginnings, and all of the learning and yearning that comes with them.”EARMILK
